Louis Vuitton Danube in Monogram Canvas. The iconic monogram was created in 1896 thanks to Louis Vuitton’s son who wanted to celebrate his father’s legacy, who passed away four years before. The motif was composed of stylized flowers and letters geometrically arranged and remains in its shape to this day. The pouch is a very chic and useful accessory.
The bag has Vachetta leather details. The hardware is gold-plated. The shoulder strap is adjustable at seven points and is long enough to wear this bag crossbody. The main compartment closes with a gold-plated zipper. The inside is made of leather and contains one slip-in pocket. There is another slip-in pocket on the front of the bag. The date code can be found on the surface near the zipper.
The overall condition of this vintage Louis Vuitton Danube crossbody bag is good. The leather on the inside has small scratches and the silver hardware is discolored on some elements. The leather on the edges has some scratches. Overall the leather on the outside is in good condition with some signs of usage.
