A wonderful early Kenneth Jay Lane convertible pin and pendant necklace pre-1973. Older signature of K.J.L., without copyright stamp, on oval plaque on the pack of the pin. Gold plate is bright and shiny. The necklace strand is .75 of an inch wide and set with round and marquise shape rhinestones. It measures 30.5 inches long. Each end has a round ring to allow the pin to attach. The pin is not only set with round and marquise shape rhinestones but also has eight round crystal dandles. The pin / pendant is 2 inches wide, 3.38 inches tall and .95 of an inch deep including the pin backing. The use of the flat wire curled heart shape findings in the link and pin are signature construction techniques by the manufacturer DeLizza & Elster. They produced the jewelry for Kenneth Jay Lane at this time. Very nice condition.
