This Gianni Versace jacket and skirt suit, labelled on the front, in bright purple is pure Eighties extravagance. The double-breasted jacket has a plunging neckline and it is decorated with large golden and purple buttons on the pockets and on the sleeves; shoulders are slightly padded. The pencil skirt reaches the knee and it fastens on the back with an invisible zipper. It was slightly tightened by a previous owner but this can easily be undone. An overall stunning piece that embodies the genius of its creator.
