The fabulous jeans of Gucci

Gucci skirts and Gucci dresses are great examples to characterize this brand. There are several 'typical' Gucci products which can be identified by the patterns, colours or logo. In contrast, the brand’s jeans trousers are much simpler. The pants are therefore better to combine with clean clothes as opposed to jeans trousers, which usually have a rough design with holes or stripes. The jeans that are light-coloured and have the logo of the brand on its back pocket are also a beautiful item. It remains to be seen whether Gucci designs more jeans without the brand’s famous logo again.

The beginning years

In 1906, Guccio Gucci opened the fashion house called Gucci in Florence. The store mainly sold leather products. In 1920, the founder decided to sell leather bags to horsemen which helped establish a good reputation for the brand which was a good first step. Around 1938, Guccio started to expand his shop to Rome and started working with his sons Aldo, Vasco and Rodolfo. Around the 1950s, the first store in Milan was inaugurated which was followed by a new branch in Manhattan. After the death of Guccio and his sons, Rudolfo’s son, Mauritius Gucci took charge and planned to sell the company. After his death in 1995, there were 76 Gucci stores worldwide that were all very successful. The distinctive logo ‘G's’ and various patterns became more widely seen on most garments, and were recognised worldwide. Currently, the brand’s headquarters lies in Florence, where the first store of this successful brand was opened. The brand has also opened offices in Milan, Paris, Hong Kong, Japan and New York. Besides designing clothes, the typical green and red colours can also found in cars. In 2011, the brand entered a partnership with Fiat. In the same year, the Fiat 500 special edition came out in two colours; black and white. Both colours had a red stripe with green edges on the outside.

Gucci at REBELLE

REBELLE boasts a large collection of pre-loved products from Gucci. A variety of quality jeans is offered which combines well with other garments from the same brand. This is because the pants, as discussed previously, are simple. Other garments from Gucci usually have multiple colours or a distinctive pattern. All items on the website are checked in Hamburg for authenticity and condition by a panel of experts and owing to the fact that the brand is exceedingly popular in the United Kingdom, the value of products will always remain stable.
