Used Chanel Bracelets and Wristbands of verified quality

Chanel Bracelets and Wristbands Second Hand

Chanel’s jewellery has always been a point of praise for the house, who over the past ninety years have redefined costume jewellery. The house chooses style over substance in this case, preferring to use big, chunky faux-gemstones and ropes of gold to craft their stunning selection of trinkets. The History of Chanel Jewellery

The house of Chanel was founded in 1913 by designer Coco Chanel. Chanel quickly garnered a legion of fans following the release of their laid-back, chic clothing collections. Crafted from relaxed materials such as jersey, Chanel’s clothing was revolutionary against the strict and unforgiving style that was so popular amongst French females at the time. Through her work, Coco Chanel was responsible for the rise of effortlessly stylish outfits and the decline of rigid, corseted creations. 1930 saw the release of the first ever collection of jewellery from the house, containing a selection of Chanel rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and brooches. The collection was inspired by the heavens and constellations, and shone just as brightly. Stand-out items included a fringe-necklace that also served as a tiara and the uber-popular “Comete” necklace - a necklace consisting of a star-shaped diamond at one end and a flurry of diamonds at the other, like a comet cutting the night sky. This collection set the bar for every other one that followed it, and since the release of that fateful collection Chanel’s jewellery has dominated both couture and ready-to-wear. Their jewellery is the opposite of their understated aesthetic and yet it manages to compliment their clothing lines splendidly. Coco Chanel believed in elegance against opulence, but she never skimped on glamour.

Costume Jewels With Class

Chanel’s jewellery has always been a treat to look forward to each season. The house is fond of the costume-jewellery aesthetic, preferring to use big, chunky faux-pearls and stones to make a statement and still be financially feasible. Coco herself was a fan of pearls, never going without a string of them hanging around her neck. Chanel earrings, necklaces and other items have long been considered a stunning and simple way to inject glamour into an outfit. From shimmering stud-earrings to strings of perfect pearls, the brand’s clean, relaxed aesthetic is only accentuated by their decadent jewellery. They contribute towards a timelessly chic image, perfect for ladies with a refined sense of style.
